An Initial Assessment helps identify your goals, current abilities, relevant health or injury considerations, and what kind of training or coaching is most appropriate for you. The 60-minute Initial Assessment is the standard option, providing time for a complete individual evaluation. Shorter 20- and 40-minute options are available to make getting started more accessible.
An Initial Assessment helps identify your current strengths, what may be limiting your progress, and the most useful next steps toward your goals. Whether you want to run faster, jump higher, improve your fitness or simply discover out where to begin, the assessment gives you an individual starting point and a clear direction forward. You do not need to be fit, experienced or fully prepared before you begin.
After booking, you may be asked to complete a short intake, consent and health screening form and provide any information relevant to your goals or participation. You will receive instructions about anything you need to bring or prepare.
We start by discussing your goals, experience and any relevant health or injury history. We then assess the qualities most relevant to what you want to achieve. This may include running technique, speed, jumping ability, strength, power, mobility, coordination or endurance. You leave knowing your key priorities, what to work on next, and the most appropriate pathway forward.
